Gorgeous pics SM, it's not very often we get to see a giraffe on Wildearth so they are brilliant captures. Was he on his own do you know?

A young Group of Lions on the Drive this afternoon. It's the first time I've caught Lions on WE
Although they were having a lazy afternoon it was great to watch them relaxing in the Sun apparently they had got a young Buffalo earlier

Djuma Game Reserve, in the Sabi Sands just now
they panned round the whole scene and only these 2 hippos were chilling

Heron - swallowed a fish whole - you could see it going down
Hammerkop using the hippo to fish from
The Hammerkop takes 6 months to build it's nest and it has a false entrance to fool predators - they are considered unlucky if you have one in your garden
