Re: Plant Pot Owl

They must have had to slow that down so much to get that footage and it's as clear as a bell, brilliant. How could something so gorgeous and cute look so evil and determined ? !!!

Re: Plant Pot Owl
At first look I thought something awful had happened to our owl, but all is well, he is just lying in a funny way but his head has moved and he is fine, just a strange position

Re: Plant Pot Owl
Great picture from this morning WS. I've just had a look in and he was doing a lot of preening underneath, at first I thought the eggs had hatched but then I saw the glimpse of an egg, so not yet.
Heres a couple of pics of him from just now.

Re: Plant Pot Owl
Heres our Owl this morning. The eggs are supposed to hatch between the 2nd - 6th October, so they may have hatched. We need to keep checking to see if they have. This morning he is still just sitting there and hasn't moved for me to check.

Re: Plant Pot Owl
At least one, if not two of the eggs hatched last night, it was to late to post. I could see at least one chick moving, and the top half of an egg. As we know with Owls the eggs hatch sometime apart to give the first one the best chance of survival. So watch this space.
