The Langholm moor project has received quite a lot of press around here,sadly those that need convincing,the estate owners and factors,don't seem interested.They seem happy to just kill anything with a tooth or a claw,it really is frustrating,I once tried debating with a factor over the issue,his answer,the cheapest and most effective method was to poison or shoot,didn't seem to care that it was illegal and imoral.

Same old same old…………………….in short ignorance to pursue greed…………. Should have gone to specsavers as they are clearly short sighted.

Pleasure for the well off at any cost, and to hell with the Wildlife. If estates are detirmined to provide this sort of thing then the peolple who take part, could afford to pay, an additional cost to provide diversionary feeding.

This kind of thing really makes me mad. It's dreadfully sad for the Hen Harriers but it's always greed over the rights of wildlife.
We bang on about how China treats Tigers etc with their silly beliefs and greed over money and the countries that poach ivory but we are no better sometimes; lets just kill off endangered species because they are ruining our income......which is also gained from killing animals.
Will the Governement not break their promise?....Mmmm let us see!!!!!!

What a tragic report you posted WS - such sad news that our greed is going to cause the extinction of yet another creature.

I wonder when we will stop all this and realise just what we've done to our planet.
