The Longest Name
It was a great day in North Wales today cold, but lovely, and sunny. So we had a run out to the Isle of Anglesey. We crossed over the Menai Straights on the Brittania Bridge, built by Robert Stephenson grandson of George Stephenson of the Steam Engine the Rocket fame. We looked back over the straights once we crossed at the Bridge, but this is'nt a very good shot as I was shooting nearly straight into the sun
but looking the other way we had a great view of the Menai Bridge buit by Thomas Telford, with a wonderful backdrop of the Snowdonia Moutain Range covered in snow
We then arrived at the Village, and Railway Station with the longest name in Britain
Get your tongues round that one Guys although the English translation's underneath to make it easier.

Great photos WS and what a view!
Great to get the English translation - named after 'directions' rather that a place itself, if you know what I mean.
