Morning LW, sounds like quite a tribe you've got there. It's cloudy here in North Wales, and yesterday it rained most of the day, but we cant complain it's the first time we have had rain apart from one shower at night, for weeks, and the gardens, and fields could really do with the water

Well hello and i apologise for my absence but i have been a bit busy with my cop thing, WS messaged me about this forum and it is brilliant - well done. i love the range of animals on here.

I've still got 6 cats, a rabbit and a pond fish - not that i get to enjoy them so much these days.

The weather is very different over here at the moment, Autumn has struck and it is cold and wet, which is fine by me.

lovely to see you all on here

Minty, TTM, tictac thingy

Hi TTM aka Minty

Glad you are here, shame that you aren't getting to see all your cats, rabbits and fish as much as you'd like, but hope the cop thing is going well.

i've not done this bit so - we have 2 dogs, one Rhodesian Ridgeback called Penny, one retired rescue Greyhound called Penny. They are of course totally perfect! We have tropical fish (well Pete has) about 40 and some goldfish outside and 9 black welsh mountain sheep. I think that's it!

We dont have sunshine today - in fact it's positively cold

Mmmm was having problems posting at first but just did a 'testing testing' and that's gone through ok - so I'll just edit this message and post again. I've typed the same message about 3 times and each time I tried to post I got an error, hopefully all is in order now Very Happy

Hello, good to find you all - I was wondering where everyone had gone but now I've found you Very Happy

Just to add my bit as everyone else has, I'm daft about animals. Four legged and furry, two legged and feathered, I love them all Cool Got one dog, a Boxer called Ali who is 12 this year, quite old for a Boxer. She is half mine and half my mum & dads, we bought her when I was still at home. As hubbie (Ian) and I work all day she stays with my parents as mum is retired.

Doogs cheers

Good morning everyone

I hope you are all having a good weekend, we ended up with rain overnight but it's looking better now which is good as we thought we'd have a b-b-q tonight.

The bluebells are now finally out properly (only 3 weeks late) and they look beautiful. I need to take some photos today. We had a couple of ducks with their 9 chicks (sadly i think no longer 9) a few days ago. I hope they are now safe on the river, they aren't always the best with where they nest and where they decide to take their chicks!

Whatever you are all up to today i hope you have a fun time.

Hi Everyone,

It is cloudy here in part with intervals of sunshine, but neighbours have already lit bbqs as I can smell yummy food that is making me hungry.

Minty- Hope things are going well with your cop thing. You will be happy to see your animals. I have never had a rabbit and Im sure takes some looking after. Any pictures?

Doogs - Boxers are lovely dogs and I hope she is doing ok.

Lai - Isnt having 2 dogs called Penny a bit confusing? My neighbours have beaten you to the bbqs today I think. I love walking through the woods and seeing loads of bluebells open, it sounds beautiful were you are. Aaaah and the Ducks and little ones, I hope the chicks did make it, but unfortunately thats life Sad

I hope whatever everyone is doing today it is peaceful!

Afternoon everyone Very Happy

Glad you managed to get posting Doogs, hopefully you have no more problems and you can chat away to us all.

Minty, would love to hear how the new job is going, are you still at the Acadamy? I should imagine Autumn is a relief from the hot Summer you had and much better for your fish and the pond.

I hope the chicks are all ok Lai, lets hope they stay safe on the river out of harms way

Everyone talking about BBQ's......Oooo makes me hungry Very Happy we've got a pretty dull day here, so went out spending instead, just brought a new computer table.....trouble is it needs building What a Face lets hope the instructions are simple Very Happy

I hope your weekend has been a good one, mines about to explode into a bout of housework....how exciting.

Hi Everyone!!!

I've got a gorgeous little dog called Millie, she's 3 and a half and a staffy cross yorkie!! And what makes it more shocking is the mum is the yorkie!! She gets to see her Mummy and Daddy lots as they are my brother's dogs and live just round the corner.

I need a bit of advice though, it appears I have a rat in the garden ... well not appears ... i do! I've seen it with my own eyes. Its living in the area of the garden we haven't got round to weeding yet. My boss says poison it, but i can't do that. One i would get to upset, two I have a dog, 3 i get lots of cats in the garden and 4 I get lots of birds in the garden. Should I just set up humane traps? I have no idea why Roland chose my garden with a terrier dog in it and cats galore passing though.

That's not an easy one Anne-Marie. Poison isn't really an option with pets around. I'm not sure about humane traps, we once tried them with mice in the house - the mice were too smart!

Perhaps Roland could become part of your 'extended family' unless he is causing a problem. What a Face
