Sad Sickening to see a poor little puppy suffer so much from something that is so treatable. There is no excuse whatsoever. I assume and pray that Rory is now in safe hands with someone who loves and cares for him and not back with someone who is so callous and can't see when an animal is clearly suffering.

It was an unbelievable story wasn't it, so callous. I hope Rory is with new owners now but he may still be being looked after by a centre, that looks as though it was going to take some looking after before he fully recovered.
If you can't afford a dog then don't get one or hand it to a centre if you fall on hard times but don't treat it like poor Rory.

What a disgusting cruel way to treat an animal. We all know how expensive it is to have Animals treated at the Vets, and the astronomical prices they charge, but there is no excuse for this. Anyone who cannot afford vets fees, can get them treated at the PDSA, for a small donation. Hopefully Rory's with someone who will look after him for the rest of his lfe

I have been looking around this post trying to work up actually clicking the link. I simply cannot believe someone could do something like this! Yes it is not cheap to take care of animals sometimes, but there is no excuse for this much neglect! And just a little puppy! I'm glad he finally will get treated and as you have all said, I'm sure now, due to the news of his prior treatment, find a truly wonderful home. I know here in the States, when stories like this are in the news, good people come out in droves to offer homes to abused animals, I'm sure it's exactly the same case in the UK.
