Live pigeon tied up and doused in poison to trap falcons in North Wales

http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/2012/07/13/live-pigeon-tied-up-and-doused-in-poison-to-trap-falcons-in-north-wales-55578-31384606/

Another deeply distressing story - the pigeon was rescued but it must have had an awful experience.

Thats not far from us, and I've not heard of this before. I have seen Falcons on the Great Orme which is just acroos the Conwy Estuary from the Quarry. Its disgusting that anyone could go to these lenghts to kill any animals let alone Falcons, I hope they throw the book at them if they catch them.
I will try to follow this story up. our local weekly paper comes out Thursday, and the Pigeon will have been treated, at our local RSPB Centre

What an appalling story both for the pigeon and the fact they were trying to poison the Falcons Mad Thank goodness that poor pigeon was rescued but it must have been traumatised by it's ordeal Crying or Very sad Would be great to get an update about it if you can WS.

What a completely wicked thing to do on both accounts. terrible to lure such magnificent birds of prey to their death but also for that poor poor pigeon, what a dreadful thing for it to have gone through, not only having poison doused on it but to be left with no get away to save it's life is just unimaginable. I know the Pigeon was rescued but it doesn't say if it survived, we don't know if the poison had any effect on it or not, I pray the Pigeon is ok.
definaitely if you get any further news on this story WS it would be good to hear, especially if these sick people have been found.
