That really is a very touching story SM but also very sad that he is spending his whole life sitting at the graveside, although he is protecting his master it also sounds as if he is just waiting to go and be with him. The story actually had me in tears when I read it yesterday evening. Capitan is a truely remarkable dog and a very special dog. Lots of love, hugs and thoughts go out to Capitan I love you Group Hug

Oh my goodness, that's definitely a story to bring Crying or Very sad to your eyes, bless.

Very much reminds you on the story of the Akita called Hachiko which was made into a film (Hachi: A Dog's Tale) a few years ago. I watched it for the 1st time coming back from a holiday in America and bubbled continuously throughout the film !!!!

There was also some nice stories underneath the main one of people's own experiences with their dogs, amazing animals Cool
