I had a house Rabbit and the only thing he ever chewed was my telephone wire, numerous times I must admit but in the end I cased it and he didn't do it. Rabbits do live wires unfortunately.
I am glad they are using natural methods to deter the bunnies but I still wished they werent trying to encourage the Hawks and Eagles in but I suppose that is much better than shooting the rabbits, so thats good thing, I would prefer if they just used the smellie deterrents though.
