Something a bit different : The Cutie And The Beast

The Cutie I filmed In Canada, near the Bow Falls ( Video Of The Bow Falls, under mickeysutube) & the beast comes from the Netherlands, near Maastricht. I spotted it while on a boat trip trying to escape a floodgate.

Great capture MUT (ooops mickeysutube does shorten to that, no offence meant !). That first animal was very cute, do you know what it is ? It's like a cross between a beaver / hamster / otter / squirrel kinda thing !! I presume that was a rate in the your second clip ?

Sorry Doogs, no idea what the first animal is, but the second one ... yes that is a rat. No need to apologizes about the MUT :) It's diffrent lol , but you can call me Mickey. :)

I tried to Google what kind of animal it could have been Mickey but I failed miserably 
It's not a Chipmunk (doesn't look like its got stripes on its back) and I don't think it's a Candian Squirrel

How about a Richardson's Ground Squirrel cant see the tail that well on the video, but the coat looks very similar
