Wind Farm - A threat to Golden and Sea Eagles
I really hope this doesn't happen as it could lead to a tragic loss of these magnificent birds. Thank goodness it has been deayed for the time being.

I hope this does'nt happen as well for the effect it will have on the Eagles. At the moment windfarms are having an increasingly devastating affect on Birds, not only on land, but out at sea where they are on migratory routes. I personaly have never been convinced of the Windfarm contribution to the inviroment. There still has to be coal, and gas fired power stations on standby for when there is not enough wind to supply demand, and that is much of the year. You cant just flick a switch, and turn them on they are constantly on immediate operational alert to kick in, so any saving emmisions is minimal.
