I know this is nothing to do with wildlife but it's a fascinating website with amazing statistics on it and it does include some environment stats.

It's a brilliant site. Well worth 10-15 minutes of anyone's time. Some WOW and affraid stats on population and famine, plus some eyebrow raising facts of a little more obscurity. It's probably a good thing to check over every six months or so, so Lai, we shall try to remind each other about this OK

Just checked this out Lai and it really interesting, what is weird is to see the stats changing in front of your eyes. GR is right it would be a good idea to make note of a number on something that interests you and then check back again in 6 months to see how the stats have changed, I reckon some could be pretty scary.
