Animal Sayings Empty Animal Sayings

I was driving to work this morning and my thoughts were going off on a tangent as they sometimes do and I was thinking about animal sayings that we use and was thinking about the meaning behind them or how they started and if they were still relevent to today, so if anyone knows the meaning behind these sayings or how they started, I would be really interested to know.

You got me thinking LW!

Here are a couple I thought of:

Every Dog has his day

A leopard cant change its spots

There is more than one way to skin a cat

In the doghouse

If I can think of more I will add if that is OK
