Daylight Robbery!
Incredible pictures capture the moment a puffin becomes victim of a fly-by MUGGING by a black-headed gull
Puffin did not know predator was watching when he caught five sand eels off Farne Island coast near Northumbria
Black-headed gull swooped and wrapped its wing around the helpless bird
The pair tumbled to the ground where puffin tried to run to safety
Amateur photographer and puffin enthusiast Steve Evans, 50, has been planning this expedition for months

Re: Daylight Robbery!
A lucky puffin what an amazing set of photos. I'm so pleased the puffin kept some of the sand eels after all that and more importantly that it survived the hijack!
Thanks for the link Doogs.

Wow those are some amazing photo's and that must have been a little scary for the Puffin. Whilst I love all birds I am really pleased the Puffin was ok and that he managed to hold onto one sand eel to feed his young with.
