Amazing photos show how baby langur monkey goes from bright
orange to silver before its FIRST birthday

A wildlife photographer has captured the transformation of a baby Silver-leaf langur as its fur changes from orange to grown up grey

Professional photographer Thomas Marent, 47, got close to the animals, which are 'near threatened' in Kuala Selangor Nature Park, Malaysia

There are a number of theories as to why the animals are born with bright orange fur that starts to turn grey when they are just three months old

What an interesting article Doogs, so many theories and all sound quite valid really but what a gorgeous colour, it is so vibrant its almost a shame they change colour, even the grey head an orange body looks cute. They have adorable faces too dont they. A nice article Doogs.

I'd notheard of Silver Leaf Langurs before, but what beautiful creatures they are. Just a shame that like too many of the species around the world, they are under threat. Amazing how quickly they change colour, and they do look really cute when they are orange
