Bertie
I am in love with this little Owl. He is just so adorable and it sounds as if he is now having such a fantastic life, even if he is afraid of the big outdoors. A lovely article and just fabulous pictures of Bertie. Mr Middleton is sooooooo lucky to be able to care for him.

What an amazing article and superb photos. Bertie really is a gorgeous little owl and Peter is such a star for taking him in. I love the photos, especially the one of Bertie on his head.
Great find Littlewid and a real for today.

Re: Bertie
What a lovely story LW, a shame a cant be free, but he clearly wouldn't cope with life in the wild. But he has a lovely life reading the story, and looking at the pics , love the one of him sitting on the kettle handle.

What a beatiful little chap he is It is a shame he couldn't be free but in the circumstances he looks to have a very happy, healthy life and is obviously well looked after by his adoring owner Peter. Thanks for that LW
