I am in love with this little Owl. He is just so adorable and it sounds as if he is now having such a fantastic life, even if he is afraid of the big outdoors. A lovely article and just fabulous pictures of Bertie. Mr Middleton is sooooooo lucky to be able to care for him.  Owl

What an amazing article and superb photos. Bertie really is a gorgeous little owl and Peter is such a star for taking him in. I love the photos, especially the one of Bertie on his head.

Great find Littlewid and a real  Bertie 71418  for today.

Bertie 768480 What a lovely story LW, a shame a cant be free, but he clearly wouldn't cope with life in the wild. But he has a lovely life reading the story, and looking at the pics , love the one of him sitting on the kettle handle.

What a beatiful little chap he is  I love you   It is a shame he couldn't be free but in the circumstances he looks to have a very happy, healthy life and is obviously well looked after by his adoring owner Peter.  Thanks for that LW  cheers
