Still having to use Tablet in town, but tomorrow we are starting 2 weeks of Dog, and House sitting while Mrs S's friend who does her nails is on holiday with her family. Their Dog Daisy a Boxer hs had a cancer tumour removed, and has had a chest drain put in, that now is out, but they couldn't put her in kennels, and it would have cost them a fortune to cancel as they are going to Mexico. So we said we would Dog sit for them for 2 weeks. They have super fast broadband  cheers so hopefully I will be back tomorrow, or Friday

Oooh how exciting WS, you and Mrs S are looking after a BBB - Beautiful Bouncy Boxer !!! Although the poor thing might not be quite so bouncy after her op, I really hope she is ok  I love you flower Hugs  How old is she WS ? Red or brindle ? You'll have to post a few pictures of her for me, you know how much I adore Boxers  http://i70.servimg.c

What a bonus the house has a good Broadband connection, looking forward to having you back on the forum soon.

Well we are in, sorry I haven't been on, but its been a busy day. Its surprising what you have to take with you, even if your only going a few miles. Any way Daisy is lovely, its the first time I've seen her, and she's really cute. She gave a few barks to start with, but she soon settled down to a cuddle. Pics will follow next week, I'm working all over the bank holidays, so I'll have more time then, and we will have settled into a bit of a routine.

Well its taken us longer to sort ourselves out than we imagined  What a Face . This is a quirky old house with lots of different levels, stairs, and little steps. First day I fell down a step  affraid lucky I didn't damage anything managed to keep hold of the plate I was carrying, and not spill a drop of the Boddies in the glass I was holding in my other hand, by jamming my shoulder against the opposite wall. Second day Mrs S fell up a step, one that she had warned me about several times, and landed on both knees  affraid and she's still a bit sore specially her right knee. Plus a very busy weekend with it being Easter, and we have had to split our time between here, and home as we had to leave Poppy, until we had sorted a spot for her in the extension, as Daisy has never seen a Cat before, and we don't know how she'd react. We know Poppy's fine with Dogs but we didn't want Daisy getting to excited, and chasing around so soon after her op. Anyway after tomorrow hopefully normal service will be resumed by WS

WS

The moral of the story is. If your going to fall up, or down a step, make sure you have a glass of Boddies in your hand, concentrates the mind wonderfully  Very Happy
