From Mara Meru Cheetah Project FB Page :-
Great News from the Mara - one more female has cubs! We spotted Dustanka yesterday in the Triangle with five healthy cubs. She caught reedbuck for her 2-months old cubs.
At this age, cubs follow mothers and cover large distances. When the family rests under the shade or on a termite mound, mother keeps an eye on the surrounding environment and listens attentively to all sounds to be ready to react to any possible threat or danger. When mothers leave for hunting, they go far from the place, where they leave cubs, so they will not interfere and will not be visible for the other predators. In case of danger, cubs produce long-distant call, which leads the mother back to her litter. Therefore, it is extremely important to keep a distance from the cubs at least 20 meters and switch off engine every time you are around a cheetah with cubs or cubs without a mother. Also give a way to a family which is passing by and do not follow animals. Please remember – human behavior indirectly might affect survival of a cheetah!

Re: Another Cheetah Mum in the Mara . . . .
Now I've also found this on Mara Triangle's FB Page and a bit confused, is this the same female (although she has a different name) - seems an awful coincidence !!!
"We currently have a cheetah with five cubs. The mother is called Kakenya and she used to hang out around Baghdad dam. While she was mating with a male in Oct 2012, her mate was attacked and killed by Oloololo pride male lion. Then she disappeared near the Tanzanian border, near Oldonyo Nasipa for several months before she possibly moved to Serengeti. Nice to have her back in the Mara Triangle, together with her wonderful cubs".

Confusing - but I guess different camps and guides may use different names.

Yes Lai, that is probably the case. It's the same with bear viewing too, different bear viewing operators and even different guides with the same operator use different names for the same bears. It can me mightily confusing!
