Pensioner finds spider's web stretching 6ft between his car and shed

Russell Harding, 74, found the web when he went to work in his garage
Sitting in the middle of the web was an inch-and-half garden spider
Appeared overnight in Colerne, Wiltshire, and disappeared three days later

affraid That was amazing and totally scary but beautiful. I am so pleased I didn't walk into it but really relieved the spider moved on safely!

That's a very cleverly taken picture! It makes it look like the web is massive when really it's not much bigger than most of the webs found in your garden!
