I read this story either yesterday or the day before about this handsome boy being abandoned at Ayr station with his suitcase of little belongings. Well it seems as though there will be good news for Kai and that's just fantastic to read. I hope they find his owners and they get punished for abandoning him.

Me too and I just couldn't believe it, it is just so sad. If the owners couldn't cope anymore I would have thought a rescue centre would have been a good option.

Let's hope he finds a new forever home.

Thanks for sharing Littlewid.

Saw this in the news, I cant believe people will not take animals they can no longer look after for what ever reason, don't take them to rescue centres. There's no shame in doing it that's what they are for. Hopefully a new forever home is close

I did see this story last week, poor lad but hopefully his life will be better from here on in as I'm sure they will find a nice, loving home for him. I too hope that whoever abandoned him gets identified and punished accordingly Mad

I can't find the article now but it was only a day or so ago they said they had found the person who was supposed to have brought Kai off of Gumtree. She said the owner just turned up left Kai with her and drove off......I think that's what the article says. Either way poor Kai was just dumped as the owner didn't want him and the person who was supposed to be buying him said to the owner they didn't want him as he was bigger than they thought he was from his picture. That's why she left him at the station. Both humans treated him badly but as you say Doogs, hopefully now he will get a loving forever home and be incredibly happy.
