Month-old jaguar cubs unveiled to the public for the first time at Russian Zoo

The cubs were a month-old when they were presented to public
According to the zoo their teeth have already started to grow
The two cubs have also reportedly reached ideal weight of 3kg
Jaguars are the fifth brood of mother and father Agnes and Rock

They are really cute and beautiful to see, but I would much prefer to see them in the wild. So many Zoos now seem to be breeding, and rearing animals like this, but there does not seem to be any release schemes for these animals

I hear what you're saying WS . . . all too often we are told endangered animals like snow leopards are bred in zoos for release back to the wild but you never seem to hear of these stories :o(

Lovely photos but I so agree WS. They are never to be released and therefore I am sad that they have bred with no hope for a life in the wild or even semi wild in a conservancy or sanctuary.
