Some of you may have seen this in the papers today. A one year old elephant calf snared and speared in the skull by poachers looking for ivory. So sick. Luckily he was rescued by DSWT and is doing ok. He is so adorable, it could have been a completely different outcome. How would the poachers like it if the tables were turned!!!

It never ceases to amaze me how these little eles pull through after such horrendous injuries and how amazing DSWT are with their efforts and hardwork. Poaching is on the up and up and it is heartbreaking to see such a small ele in such pain.

Thanks for sharing Littlewid. I get emails and updates from DSWT and as you know we foster 5 eles just now, actually maybe it's 4 eles and 1 rhino Laughing
