Thanks WS.

Sorry I've been AWOL but lots to catch up on with work, photos still a work in progress and today Rosie is at the vet having x-rays on both front legs as she's very lame and the meds aren't working, whilst she's there she's having her teeth cleaned which will be a joy!

Poor Kip had a seizure/fit 2 nights ago just while we were sitting doing nothing (apart from sipping a Pimms and Pete a G&T) it lasted about 15 seconds and luckily we were there so I stopped her hurting herself with her head on the floor. We rushed off to the vet, he checked her over and took bloods, nothing obvious and the wrong age for epilepsy, so we need to keep an eye on her, it wasn't hot and we hadn't just been for a long walk or anything. It was scary and worrying with nothing obvious to account for it.

Anyway enough drama from me - hope you are all okay and enjoying summer which is a bit on/off at the moment!

Off to do some photo management at lunchtime

Ooooops Sorry thought I had replied to this, I remember doing it mustn't have sent it (ols age that's my excuse)
I really hope Rosie, and Kip are going to be ok, worrying time for you both.
Summer season here with the Kids holidays, although its quietter this year, don't know if its the brexit effect or the weather. Summer here seems more off than on.
Hope you all had a good weekend, and some decent weather

Good morning everyone

Sorry not to reply WS, it's been busy with the Olympics, dogs and to-ing and fro-ing and of course Birdfair for 3 days.

Kip and Rosie are fine now thanks. Kip had all her stitches removed and remarkably is healing well, she won't be quite as beautiful but then she shouldn't have chased the fox! She needs to go in for some dental work but we need to ensure she's fully recovered before doing that. Happily she hasn't fitted again, it seems to have been a one off Very Happy

So the weather has been typical UK summer - and yesterday it was a scorcher sunny not sure over the b/h weekend Rolling Eyes Shocked but let's hope for sunny

Didn't Team GB do us proud? They were wonderful and I confess I watched as much as possible, although I am a dormouse and struggled to watch into the early hours of the morning so was always trying to catch up the following day.

Birdfair was ace as ever, so much passion against the Hen Harriers being persecuted and the Banning of the Grouse shooting which was great. Lots of wonderful people speaking and so much to see and do and friends to catch up with. 4 of us joined the Rutland osprey cruise one evening which was lovely.

Hope you are all okay and that you are feeling 100% WS - I guess it will be a busy weekend for you?

Take care everyone and enjoy the b/h

Lai cheers

Phew Lai glad Rosie and Kip are both OK I was worried about them. I'm sure Rosie will be just as beautiful to you no matter how she looks. I felt proud to be British after their performance in Brazil, and to finish second in the table above China when you take into acoount the population difference between them and also other Countries was awesome. Just goes to show what GB can do when all parts pull together

Been a busy but nice and sunny weekend here driving around, loads of traffic, and people, but the strange thing is that many business's report that people are not spending.
Hope you all had a good and sunny weekend

Thanks WS both Rosie and Kip are doing well now and Kip has just had her teeth cleaned and 2 removed so she is perfect and we just have to keep trying to clean them which is an interesting challenge Laughing

I agree about the Olympics - wow Team GB did so well and I was so thrilled we beat China, it almost became an obsession for me checking the medals table every day Shocked cheers

Hope everyone is okay and enjoying the end of summer - mmm did we have one this year lol!

Good morning WS

Sorry it's taken me ages to get back on to WAA Shocked

I hope you and Mrs S are okay and enjoying the autumn. Wasn't Autumnwatch brilliant? Arne is such an amazing place, we loved it and hope to go back next year.
