Diesel Empty Diesel

So much sadness has gone on lately in Paris and it has been truely awful and my heart goes out to everyone involved but today my heart just broke with the news of seven year old Diesel. She was doing her job and for me its not something I am truely comfortable with as animals can't choose whether they want to go to war or fight crime but Diesel was off doing her job protecting her colours when her life was taken in the most horrendous way. She has had hundreds of messages of love and respect and I wanted to honour her here as well.

Much love and respect Diesel, you didn't deserve to die in that awful way.....rest peacefuly and play hard at Rainbow bridge.

I've seen this on FB and all the tributes have been amazing. Just one dog doing it's job and such a tragic outcome.

RIP Diesel a truly remarkable dog - may life in Rainbow Bridge be full of joy, happiness and peace.
