I don't understand how people can do this and especially to peregrine falcons as they are my most fave birds

Just seen this on the 10-30 pm news Thanks for putting it on the Forum PPH. At least 11 0f the eggs were incubated, and have been placed in nests in Scotland so at least with luck they will fly free unlike the smuggler who as you say Lai should be inside for a lot longer
WS cheers

30 months is no where near long enough to stop this man from doing it again. He was going to earn himself a fortune so 30 months is just a hic cup to him, he will do it again I am sure and to plead ignorance and then say he works in the safari business, the man is a disgrace, he knew what he was doing and he has no where near paid for his crime.
I am just pleased the chicks hatched but very sad that the parents didnt have the joy of raisng them. The report didnt ay they were placed at the nest site they were taken from and if they were, were the parents even around, so were they hatched in captivity?
People like this man make me so mad.
Thanks for posting this PPH, I didn't see it on the news yesterday.

He will be out in half the time for good behaviour and do it all over again, he is a serial egg thief. Im glad 11 of the eggs hatched and were released.

Im lost for word. I know what I would like to do to him though!

I can understand collecting stamps and coins but how can anyone justify collecting eggs. I remember years ago another egg collector got caught and said he was a wildlife lover. How can you call yourself a wildlife lover when you are driving species to the edge of extinction

very true PPH. True wildlife lovers have respect and admiration for wildlife, this guy had none at all and is definiately not a wildlife lover at all, he is one of the main problems.
