This may be unusual but this is a sad story and worth the warning.

That's so sad LW. I'm surprised Bob Martins sold a product like that a bone with marrow in and fresh is OK, but a dried bone is more likely to splinter, and cause problems.

I know I was surprised too WS, luckily I never give Nero bones at all. I don't know the people involved but Worthing is my Home Patch, it's where I used to live and where my mum lives so it was a bit of a shock to read it was so close to home. I do feel so very sorry for the family and it must have been awful for the little dog.
