Hundreds more birds fall from the sky

Post  littlewid on Wed Jan 05, 2011 10:33 pm

Just found this in the Telegraph, such a shame that hundreds more birds have died.
From the read they don't think the two incidents are related.

I saw this on Channel 4 news (I think) last night - no real explanation but perhaps they were scared from their roosts they said, apparently it's not the first time ............ seems very odd and sad to me.

Very sad indeed. It would be good if they did spend the time to full investigate what happened to educate so it can be avoided in the future.

I agree SM, I think the birds deserve a proper investigation so that it doesn't happen again, they were senseless losses I imagine and it's just so sad for the birds, it must have been awful for them.

They say they are not related, but it seems strange they both happened on Mew Years Eve
