Thanks for the clip WS. It's lovely to see she is no longer alone. Let's hope for more lionesses in the future.

Awww brilliant WS, thanks so much for that clip. It's just great that she's got a friend
Now the girls need to get in tow with male(s), make some little
and then they'll have a pride of their own !

TWO LION CUBS BORN IN LIUWA PLAIN NATIONAL PARK
Two lion cubs have been sighted in Liuwa Plain National Park in Zambia, significantly marking the first birth of lion cubs in the park for well over 10 years. They were born three to four weeks ago to the protégé of the park’s famous lioness known as Lady Liuwa.

Re: Lady Liuwa Update
Isn’t it just Lai
That’s such a lovely picture with mum resting her chin on the little ones head, bless
Mum & dads names are very apt. I hope the sight of these cubs brings a smile to Lady’s face as she has at last witnessed more lions around her after all this time, it’s just lovely. Here’s hoping this is just the start of lions being born in Liuwa and
to the 3 little ones, still young and vulnerable but hopefully they will make it.

5 Days with Lady Liuwa
LionVoice just returned from five days with Lady Liuwa in Liuwa Plain National Park in Zambia. We have hundreds of photos and hours of video footage of the lions. Over the next few weeks we will update you with our stories.
We are privileged to report that Lady, Sepo (Hope), the male, and the three cubs are all doing well. Lady adores the cubs and spends hours wrestling and playing with them. While their mother is very protective and all business, Lady (or Auntie Lu as the Cubs call her) is just a giant plaything.

Re: Lady Liuwa Update
OH Doogs that is so sad
after all the efforts to repopulate the area with Lions after Lady was left as the last Lion. Hopefully the cubs will survive, and new Males will be introduced when the cubs are old enough. They really need to find out how he died though.
