Nothing around the pan at the moment, but the night sounds are fantastic. Pity you cant hear them from the still!

This chap appeared as I open the webcam.

Does anyone know what sort of bird it is? Not seen it before.

Checked out the cams this morning and it was Impala at Elephant Plains, quite a herd of them.

You could hear a noisy Hippo in the background but he was not visable on cam this morning.

It's great to see the Impala pics thanks Guys, that looks quite a big group, and they seem settled so it does'nt look as though there are any predators around

Just seen your question SM re the bird. I think it's a Southern-Ground Hornbill. I've seen them in Kenya so no doubt they can be found in S.A.

It's been a long time since i've seen anything on the Africam cams but this morning there is a huge tusker at tembe, not good focus but nice to see him.

Hopefully someone else will have better luck than me, I checked Nkorho Pan, Tembe and EP and no animals so far this morning, beautiful and sunny but no moving life but loads of lovely bird sounds. Better luck later hopefully.
