Films that use Wild Animals
There has been quite an outcry about the ADi footage of Tai the elephant used in the film Water for Elephants, being trained by the company that owns her - Have tusks will travel. This footage shows Tai being trained with the use of stun guns and beatings with bull hooks.
Who should bare the responsibility. 100% Have Tusks Will Travel or those like the film producer etc. that create the demand?

That is a tricky one,but I'd blame both,no doubt the film producers might claim they knew nothing about it.Bit like Grouse moor owners claiming they don't know that predators are being poisoned.
At the other end of the scale is the use of trained Starlings or Raptors,if there was cruelty, they'd just fly away It does enhance our enjoyment of the program and educates us at the same time, draw the line at any cruelty,no excuse..
