Thanks Littlewid. Sadly this won't help the cause but was bound to happen. We're so nearly there with the number of signatures which is wonderful news.

I agree Lai. I see where they are coming from in that action is often needed but these people do take things too far and then get everyone off side instead of on side and they could jeopadise all the good work that has been done.......although it is tempting to go and disrupt the culls, I know that is not a good thing but often talking is so slow and it doesn't always give the outcome you want but on the other hand rebelious actions can really inflame a situation and make it a whole lot worse for the cause, often you feel like i'm damned if I do and im damned if I dont.

100,000 signatures is a peaceful way of showing our protest and it will get a reaction. Far better that than being fanatical.

Again I agree Lai. Just read your post in lets chat about what Simon said and he is right, peaceful is better. I always shout first then sit back before I act and I so gree with the petitions and peaceful approach, you are taken more seriously becuase it shows people care and that you are not just jumping on the bandwagon of others rebelious actions. We need to just keep spreading the word and doing what we are all doing for the Badgers.

It's getting really close now thanks PPH. Quite agree with you Guys, the last thing we need is Animal Rights activists giving this a bad name, it will only give the powers that be an excuse to say these people who have signed the petition are all the same, and a reason to ignore it.

E-petition leaves badger cull 'up for debate'

The badger cull in parts of Somerset and Gloucestershire could be reconsidered, after 100,000 people signed an e-petition to stop it.

Thats really good news Lai thanks, lets hope happens. To get over 100,000 in a week just shows how strong the publics feelings are against the cull. Lets hope the pressure on the Governmant keeps mounting up

From the Wildlife Trusts

http://www.wildlifetrusts.org/badgers-and-bovineTB

This gives links for writing to your MP/MEP and useful information. I am happy to see that Cheshire are beginning a vaccination scheme this autumn.

That really is good news and yes to get over 100,000 signtures in just a week is monumental and just goes to prove the support for the Badgers and vaccination, I really hope this has the desired effect.

Thanks also for the other link Lai, I will again write to my MP and also MEP and brilliant that Cheshire are going to have a vaccination scheme.

I am just so pleased so many have supported the Badger
