If the destruction of habitat, wildlife, and the cost can't stop it maybe history can

New blow for HS2 as 'lost' battlefield is found on route
HS2 faces a new blow after historians pinpoint the previously "lost" site of a Wars of the Roses battlefield along its route, leading English Heritage to give the area listed status

It really does begger belief that once again like the Badger Cull the Government is going against overwhelming advice that the project is not worth the cost, and also ingnores the devastation that it will cause all in the sake of saving a few minutes travel time
