Snowed in,but went out for a walk round the village, intending to find some tracks, but covered up by 4 inches of snow overnight.
Did however see a female sparrow hawk,a kestrel and 2 red kites, which are not common around here,so very pleased.

Hi Tigerburnie, that walk sounds really nice. We do not have that much snow here, but do not want to get snowed in like last winter. ~ Carson

Thats brilliant TB< not being snowed in, but being able to see Raptors like that. We dont get as much snow as you although there's enough for me lol! , but we have Sparrow Hawkes, Kestrels, and Buzzards. Shame about not being able to see any tracks, but with the snow that deep you do'nt have much chance

Your walk sounds lovely TB. I love walking in the snow but not driving in it...I had too many near misses last year. It's a shame the snow covered up the tracks.....we could have had another picture quiz otherwise Very Happy
We are predicted snow for tonight but not sure how much, I know Scotland has had it pretty bad.
Did you take your camera and get any pictures of the birds you saw TB?

another great pic TB, the sky looks really threatening, you do well to work out which birds are what, i'm afraid i'm not too good at knowing what is what, i'm probably better at the UK birds than the Aussie ones unless they are obvious like the parrots.

Keep warm

That's a great picture TB and TTM is right, that sky does look very threatening and very cold What a Face also brilliant you can spot those birds, very difficult when they are so tiny to see. That pic really makes you want to go Brrrrr Frosty Tongue but I love winter scenes. Thanks TB
