Hopefully this will 'gee up' your current employers to get a new contract sorted out for you. Totally unfair to leave you hanging on not knowing Mad

As you really like the job I hope it does kick start them into making a decision. Management always seem to work like this and it's not fair, they expect you to be loyal to them whilst you are there and do your job in a timely fashion but it never seems to cut the other way does it. So lets hope this is the wind in their sails that they need and get a wriggle on, if not they are going to loose you. lets hope it works out PPH.

the two team leaders today were doing the staff rota for the next 3 months and they asked when was my last day. When I told them they said they were going to put me down for the whole 3 months because they were fighting for an extension and they werent going to let me go that easy

that made me feel better that I had two team leaders and their boss on my side so we'll just have to see what happens

found out today that they are extending my contract until the end of March

Its not the perm job I was hoping for but as my dad said 'it keeps me off the streets'

they also want me to help another dept that have a few projects coming up so I will be getting a lot more experience to put on my CV

You never know it may still become permanent and in the mean time you still have a job and will have more experience to add to your CV which is always a good thing.
Love your dads sense of humour Very Happy and keeping my fingers crossed they still get to see sense PPH.

They told me today that they have a part time perm position available and wanted to give me first refusal. I told them that I need a full time job to pay all my bills but said thanks for asking me first

Its lovely they asked you PPH but a shame it wasn't a full time job. I hope you get some good luck with your updated CV and at least you have the job till the end of March and I Think your sensible to hold out for a full time job. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
