Oil is so expensive that the oil companies just seem to have lost any interest in looking after the environment.Money is their only goal and a big(no HUGE) fine is the only way to teach them to take care.

Your right there TB, and I think a proportion of those fines should go to the organisations, and Animal Charities that have to contend with the aftermath, and devastation these spills cause

They need to shape up or as TB said hit them where it hurts. They have to take responsibility for how their business will affect the environment. All other business have to so what makes they so special.
