At the glass doors in the main office in work yesterday I took 7 common ladybirds of the blinds and put them in the greenery outside.

I noticed another on the outside sitting on the door frame. It was smaller black with 4 red spots two were at the front on the very edge at the sides on two on top. The closest I can find is the 2 spotted (on the right of the picture):

Ladybirds everywhere at the moment and they all look different, but not sure if they are native or the bad guys who are taking over.

At least you rescued them all SM - I bet they were pleased. I just found a Peacock butterfly in our bedroom and let it out - lovely to see but better outside where it should be.

I found a ladybird on one of the ball things in my water feature yesterday. The water comes up through the top and runs all over the balls. She seemed ok but I took her off incase she was stuck but she flew straight back again, so I guess they don't mind water.......or she was just a bit dotty We got ladybugged! 40683

Hope you do get better weather in the Mara Doogs, it will be a shame if it does rain whilst your there.......fingers crossed it stays dry for you with lots of sunny
