That's a great story WS. Lovely to see Nico at 50 - although in captivity, enjoying his life and his creature comforts.

He is amazing isn't he and it sounds as though he has the life of luxuary, even though it is in captivity. it's wonderful he has reached such a great age and an age he may not have reached in the wild but that would have been nature, as sad as it may have been.
Lets hope he has many years ahead of him.
That was a great read WS with some gorgeous pictures of him.

I remember reading about him being heartbroken when his mate Samba died. Poor thing, he greived for her for ages Crying or Very sad

Sounds like he's got a brilliant relationship with his keeper Mark, 22 years is a very long time to have looked after him. He looks fantastic for 50, I hope he's got many happy years ahead of him Now be honest 768480
