Spiders on the Increase Empty Spiders on the Increase

I heard on the radio today that because of the mild damp weather we have had, spiders are on the increase. They said that the usual places like sheds and garages will house more spiders but they also reckon that houses will have more spiders venturing in as well.
I am not a spider lover at all, infact they give me the creepy crawlies and I don't like the cats getting them either.......Sparkles ate one the other day affraid and then was sick pale but I don't like the cats killing them, then again, I don't want them in the house.
I am dreading possibly getting an influx of them, what does everyone else think and have you heard similar reports of a spider invasion?

I just moved a gigantic spider out of the kitchen. I cant remember the last time I saw a small spider. They must be on growth hormones or something.

Oooo don't say that SM What a Face but I must admit they are getting bigger and I nearly walked into one in the garden the other day when i went to the dustbin, nearly let out a scream Embarassed I wonder why they are getting bigger as well, maybe there are more little bugs around for them to eat, the insects do seem to be on the increase in general these days don't you think.
