From the Daily Telegraph

Cuckoos, turtle doves and nightingales are being spotted less frequently in Britain, conservationists have warned, as new research is launched to find out what is killing our summer migrants.

That makes for sombre reading doesn't it Lai but I do agree it is the worlds worry about these birds and I do believe it is due to many factors that the populations are declining. We are ripping into land often without a thought to the wildlife and as they say, birds know no boundaries and therefore the world must be responsible for them.
I hope they raise the money they need to try and gather further information to hopefully prevent further loses as it is such a shame to loose these magnificent birds.

There's a thing, we used to have 2 pairs of Turtle Doves visiting our garden regularly last year, but I haven't seen any in ages.

Hope they find out what is going on.
