thank you all so much - just back this morning and thought I'd pop in to say hello and i'm quite overcome by all the 
and good wishes.So much news and what a wedding (or two) an amazing Maasai wedding with a village elder and about 10 Maasai singing and dancing. Sadly no photos as it was 9 at night and a complete surprise. Rekero laid on this romantic dinner just for us on the river bank with the hippos and buff boys and then suddenly all this singing and dancing started and we had a ceremony. I had to say ??? many times (can't remember what now) with much prompting and joining in by all - just hoping it was 'i do'. We were given Maasai names and I was given two necklaces, really beautiful and Pete was given one of those amazing wooden sticks (is this to keep me in order I wonder)?
Pete's name is Saitoti which means helpful one and my name is Nashipai which means ever happy.
We were so touched, it was fantastic. Apparently the elders had come to camp earlier to decide what songs and dances to do - what an experience and sorry to say Pete and my dancing was not up to their standard!
More on our other wedding later and many many thanks again.

That must have been such a fantastic experience. How wonderful of them to do that, and also Rekero for laying it on. What a shame no pics, but I bet the memory will stay with you both forever. Buff Boys, and Hippos for Dinner guests, Brilliant. Looking forward to more news, and pics Lai Pai

That was a really lovely surprise with the second maasai ceremony Lai/Pai. This is going to get confusing lol.
Anyway Im really looking forward to seeing some of your pictures, but no hurry get you feet back under the table first!
