I think they are crocuses but as I am not good on plants Im not certain. I'll try and get some better pictures tomorrow when I go for another walk

That really does look like a Spring photo PPH. They do look like crocuses or are they snow drops? i'm not too good on flowers either. Have a lovely walk today.

They look like crocuses to me PPH - how lovely to see them, and you can get an autumn crocus, although I must admit I am more used to seeing them in spring.
