Thats the thing isn't it WS, our Autumn has really gone on for such a long time this year. It has been so mild and the berries and insects have been abundant that the birds have been eating natural food.
Thats what they were saying on Autumn Watch this week, the weather has been so mild and the cold snap has not really come here yet and thats why some of the migratory birds are either arriving very slowly or not at all just yet.
Good to keep the feeders topped up with some food though so that the birds know where it is when they need it.
