RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch reveal starling decline
The RSPB's annual wildlife survey has recorded the lowest number of starlings in UK gardens for 30 years.
Since the Big Garden Birdwatch began in 1979, the average number of starlings spotted by participants has dropped from 15 to just three.

Not in my garden they havent. We get mobs flying in with the highest count being 23 so far!

We only have a couple here SM. I have to say I'm a bit disapointed by the format of the results report this year, I do'nt think its as good as last years.

Interesting how the numbers have changed, we never get Starlings, just once when about 30 swooped in a couple of times and then vanished.
