Disneynature - Chimpanzee

Post  Laikipia on Thu May 02, 2013 8:51 am

Chimpanzee

In cinemas 3 May 2013

Chimpanzee is a remarkable story of individual triumph, family bonds, humour and an adorable baby chimp named Oscar. His playful curiosity and zest for discovery shows the intelligence and ingenuity of these, our closest relatives in the animal kingdom.

Life turns dramatic when Oscar is left lost and alone after a harrowing confrontation with a rival band of chimps. He is rescued with a surprise that will change his life forever.

Oh my goodness I defy anyone not to fall in love with this little fella I love you The film is short and sweet (a bit like Oscar !) but well worth seeing. There are amazing shots of the Chimps and also their stunning habitat. The growing up process for a chimp is very interesting and well portrayed in the film - there are some really funny bits with the little chimps learning to crack open nuts Laughing Lots of adorable shots of Oscar and his mum then his adoptee Freddie I love you definitley worth a visit to the cinema cheers

Sounds lovely Doogs. I haven't seen it advertised round here at the moment but I will be keeping an eye out for it, it must be here soon, else I will be waiting for it to come out on DVD but I would love to see it on the big screen really. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
