We set out for an early morning safari in the northern part of the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. Picking up the sight of vultures dropping onto the ground in the distance, we headed towards them, hoping that perhaps the resident Mwamba lion pride had killed something the night before.

WOW they are fantastic - must have been amazing to witness a fight like that between two male lions. Glad they were both ok.

WOW That must have been some experience to watch, and I bet the tension was unbelievable when the Pride Male was stalking so close to the young intruder. Glad both got away without any serious injury
