After all the horrible stories from China, its nice to read something good, surprisingly its from Japan who can themselves not always be so lovely, but this time it is.

That's a huge number of cats, great photos and interesting article. Let's hope the cats don't take over too much and cause the locals to stop protecting them. I love the pic of the cats down on the beach, so unusual Laughing

LW, what an amazing article with some truly wonderful shots. The last one of the cat jumping off of the boat is soooo Cool

Totally agree with what you've said Lai but cats breed like albino

but here's hoping they will continue to be well looked after cheers

I had the same thoughts Lai but then it has been like that for so long and when you look at the cats they all look so incredibly healthy, so I imagine they really are cared for an awful lot, there were no skinny ones or sickly looking ones. The pjctures were fantastic and I too loved the last one of the leaping cat, definiately very Cool

How brilliant it's lovely to see so many happy Kitties

Love the photos especialy the one of the Cat on the Scooter, and the one where two of them look like they are kissing. They do look really well fed, and looked after, the Japanese are not renowned for their animals welfare, especialy when you think about whaling, but credit where credits due
