Re: Masai Mara Safaris
Yeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaa
Absolutely brilliant and thanks for letting us know WS
Re Olive's cubs - this was from J&A's Blog dated 28/02/11:-
"Olive the leopard – now nearly 11 years old (we filmed her as a young cub in 2000 with her mother Bella for Big Cat Diary) – has been keeping her two young cubs hidden away in the dense thickets between Intrepids Walkway and Intrepids upmarket Explorer Camp. The cubs are now around 5 months old. On our final day at Rekero someone saw Olive at a kill (a young impala) with both cubs so at least we know they are safe and doing well. There were no signs of the leg injury that Olive sustained a while back and she looked in great shape. We were very fortunate to see Olive’s two older cubs – both males – which are around 18 months old. We had great views of the two young males greeting and playing in a clearing among croton thickets south of the Talek River one morning and apparently they still on occasion meet up with Olive and her latest litter – with Olive letting them know in no uncertain terms that they are no longer as welcome now she has younger cubs to nurture.

I passed that report on to Aatish. This was his reply
Hi,
No i havent seen that report. But these past few days olive has only been seen with one cub. I got this report towards the end of feb from a very good friend and fellow photographer of mine who lives full time in the mara. I couldnt believe it but recently there is only one cub in sight.
Hopefully the other one is still alive and well.
Aatish

Lovely updates and photos from Aatish WS. The cubs look really cute. It was sad though to read that Olive has lost a cub but brilliant news that Clawed is looking better.

Re: Masai Mara Safaris
Isn't it just brilliant that Aatish is back in the Mara Love his updates and of course his wonderful photos :) Sad news that Olive has lost one of her little ones but from Aatish's photos doesn't she look fantastic at the moment Good to see Clawed looking an awful lot better, he still doesn't look great but he looks so much healthier than when we saw him a couple of weeks ago in JS's 'Truth About Lions' programme, keep going big fella :)

Good question Doogs, we know what we are trying to say but for my part it's definitely pigeon swahili But I need to practice and WS is doing a superb job with his banter!

Re: Masai Mara Safaris
What we were Gubbing about Doogs Lai thanked Aatish on Swahili on his Blog, so I thnked Lai in Swahili for the nudge on her,she said that I spoke Swahili well, to which I replied I'm a Man of many talents, and she said absolutly. There you go your upto date.
WS
Ps Dont tell Lai Doogs, but as I said I'm a Man of many talents, unfortunatly Swahili is'nt one of them, but being sneaky is. I used Google Translator
Pps I tried putting Gubbing in, and the Translator went , and crashed
