Canine Partners for Independence Canine10 Canine Partners for Independence train and provide assistance dogs for disabled people of all levels of disability, their aim is to provide an independent lifestyle.
Canine Partners for Independence was founded in 1990 by Anne Conway & Liz Ormerod, their first three dogs, Alex, Angus and Alfred ( I believe their dogs are named alphabetically for each intake ) were trained in 1994.
Canine Partners for Independence give individuals their lives back with the help of a four legged friend. Their vision for the future is to give each individual person with a disability, requiring an assistance dog, the chance of having their own dog.
Please take a look at the work they do and how we can help. They have an amazing web site that is packed with lots of information on the work they do and how we and others can help. You can even adopt a puppy for £1 a week.
