Horses lie on their back while handstands are performed on them

That's kind of amazing but weird at the same time. I didn't think horses could lie like that comfortably or whether it was good for them but it obviously doesn't do them any harm or the horses would surely struggle. It reminded me of putting a rabbit on it's back, it sort of goes into a trance, I wonder if this is the same for the horses? If it doesn't do them any harm and it stops them from being scared then I suppose it's not a bad thing, just very odd to read and see.
