These are lovely photo's and they obviously have a great bond, but I would still be wary of fully grown male Lion. However, as he can't be released into the wild as he was hand reared maybe he is having a good life.....I just hope his owner doesn't come to a sticky end otherwise it would be the end for Zion. Another story that could cause a lot of debate I suppose.

As you say LW there is certainly a strong bond there, as we have seen in the past with the Harrods Lion cub, and also another I posted recently where a lady returned to see a Male lion cub she had spent a lot of time rearing, and the recognition it should. But there is always that chance that something will trigger it off, and that would be extremely sad, but if that happens there is no way that Zion should pay with his life for it, after all the Guys should know the risk

I quite agree with you there WS. If anything did happen t Zion's owner, he shouldn't pay with his life as it's not his fault, its the risk the guy has to take as Zion is still a wild animal.
What a gorgeous fellow he is though, a very handsome Lion indeed. I also reckon a few of us would love to cuddle a fully grown Male Lion, they do look so cuddly but I would never, ever be brave enough.......admire form afar I say.
